New Branson Aquarium Set to Open in 2020!

In February, the groundbreaking ceremony for one Branson’s largest development projects in recent years took place – starting an ambitious development plan that would bring an all-new 46,000+ square foot, $50+ million, aquarium and attraction to the famous Highway 76 “Strip.”

Featuring viewing tunnels and interactive exhibits and displays, Branson’s new aquarium will offer a one-of-a-kind experience!

The “Aquarium at the Boardwalk” will sit at the home of the former Grand Palace theatre – an iconic performance venue that hosted some of the biggest names and events through the years in the popular midwest tourist town.

After several years of research and planning, the new attraction’s construction officially began in February, 2019.

With a scheduled opening date in the Spring of 2020, it is one of the most ambitious development and attraction projects undertaken in Branson’s history.

Sharks, Rays, Touch Pools, and More!

Offering a one-of-a-kind aquatic and educational experience, the new Branson aquarium will feature thousands of fish alongside interactive exhibits and displays!

Touch pools, giant tanks, and a multitude of aquatic life will be located in the new attraction

With touch tanks and pools that allow visitors to get up close with sharks, rays, and other aquatic animals – the Aquarium at the Boardwalk will offer a unique experience unlike anything anywhere else in the world!

The new aquarium is being built and operated by long-time Branson attraction owners, Kuvera Partners.

Their iconic attractions have been part of Branson’s entertainment offerings for decades and include the popular Hollywood Entertainment Center (home of the area’s famous Hollywood Wax Museum, Shoot for the stars Mini Golf, and Castle of Chaos, and others).
