The National Craft & Cowboy Festival at Silver Dollar City runs September 13 – October 28, 2017 and showcases more than 125+ visiting craftsmen demonstrating their talent and crafts!

Silver Dollar City is known as the “Home to American Craftsmanship” and hosts a number of fascinating events throughout the year – with their “National Craft & Cowboy Festival,” they showcase some of the country’s finest artisans and craftsmen.
This special festival is one of the most sought after and highly anticipated events of the fall season!
Every year 125 craftsmen demonstrate their unique array of skills and talents. This fun festival includes a salute to the Great American Cowboy with wild mustangs, an old-fashioned barn dance, chuck wagon cooking and much more.

Wild West Show!
Taking place from September 14 – October 15 at the Red Gold Heritage Hall at Silver Dollar City, this LIVE variety and entertainment show is inspired by the legendary Buffalo Bill Wild West Show!
Fred Woehl shares his amazing talent and one-of-a-kind methods that allow him to tame the famous wild Mustangs, with live demonstrations of how he does it.
Buck Taylor’s Cowboy Emporium
Buck Taylor and other artists showcase their beautiful Western artwork.
Kent Rollins’ Chuckwagon Storytelling, Food, Poetry, & Humor
Take part in an authentic chuckwagon experience as Kent Rollins and his restored 1876 Studebaker wagon deliver food, fun, and stories!
A popular activity during the festival, the Barn Dance returns once again for the 2017 season!

Taking place at the Riverfront Playhouse, an all-star lineup of Western music bands and performers will be taking to the stage throughout the event and include:

About the Theme Park
Silver Dollar City is an internationally awarded and family focused theme park in Branson, MO. This 1880’s style theme park has over 40 rides including large wooden coasters, metal coasters that flip upside down, water toboggans, kids rides, and more. There are 100 resident craftsmen that demonstrate American-made crafts as well as over 60 shops showcasing the trades of glass-blowing, steel-forging, and other hand crafted goods. There is deep fried food, country food, candy, and all around delicious food! Silver Dollar city is also the home to Marvel Cave, one of the oldest attraction sites in the Ozarks. Don’t forget to check in and see what time the next cave tour will be starting, it’s a cool experience and a great way to “cool” down.

Silver Dollar city is a large park, grab a map on the way in and wear comfortable clothes and shoes. There are also strollers and lockers available or rent. Don’t miss the numerous free demonstrations and samples that go on in almost every shop!
