The Christmas shows in Branson usually start in November and run through December.
While Branson is known as a year-round family destination, the months of November and December are a particularly special time of year. It’s during these months that the shows in town switch from their regular-season performances to their holiday and Christmas shows.
Typically, November 1st marks the beginning of the Christmas shows (with a select few like Dolly Paron’s Stampede Dinner Show transitioning to holiday shows at the very end of October).
Not only will you find that the shows have holiday music and stages, but the whole town is filled with beautiful Christmas lights and decorations.
The main Highway 76 “Strip” is lined with lights, the several Christmas light displays in the area are running, and Silver Dollar City is decorated with millions of Christmas lights – it’s truly something you must see to believe!
If you’re planning on visiting during the holiday season and catching some of Branson’s famous Christmas shows and festivities, then the months of November and December are the times when you would want to plan your trip!
