Possibly the most popular month of the year for shows, live entertainment, and the number of visitors in town – November not only offers a huge assortment of shows, but Branson also hosts several special events throughout the month.

Featuring the country’s largest Veterans celebration, the town sets up to honor those who served our country during Veterans Week. With special rates for Veterans, a parade that takes place in the heart of downtown, and several other activities and festivities – thousands of people from around the United States descend upon town to celebrate during this week-long tribute.

Once Thanksgiving rolls around, the town is yet again a hotspot for visitors. People flock to the area for the amazing bargains and deals that can be found on Black Friday and the popular holiday shopping weekend.

November 1 kicks of the Christmas shows, with the majority of the ones in town switching over to holiday shows and segments. The area has been named one of the best places in the country to view Christmas lights and participate in the holiday festivities. In addition to the extremely popular live entertainment options, many have made a tradition of visiting Silver Dollar City for their unbelievable 1+ million Christmas lights display.
