About This Graphic
Of course the appearance and performance fees vary on many different factors, but this ranking should give you a fairly good idea of what the biggest names in country music typically charge to perform a show.
The $1 million+ Group
With only three commanding a $1 million+ fee to perform, the chances you could hire them to perform for an event may be very slim – they typically only perform on tour in stadiums that seat thousands (or tens of thousands) of people.
The country stars in the $500,000 to $1 million tier are today’s most popular acts – nearly all of them have best-selling songs and albums currently on the charts.
The $150,000 to $500,000 Performers
A mix of classic country icons, up-and-coming stars, and those who may have not released a hit recently – this tier offers a very diverse mix of country groups and artists.
The Country Stars Charging $150,000 or less for a show
Classic and contemporary country music artists are found in this price range.
This group features everyone from brand-new acts to country stars who may not have released a smash hit song or their success has already peaked.
While they don’t charge as much to perform, the ticket prices when you see them are also a fraction of what it would cost to see one of the groups or stars in the $300,000 to $1 million+ range.
Because of the little bit lower prices of the country stars in this range, it’s very possible to hire them for a private event or show.
Where can you see these country stars?
These country music groups often tour the world, whether joining their fellow country music artists or embarking on tours of their own.
Of course, we’d also like to point out that you can catch many of these country music stars performing regularly in Branson, Missouri – whether in their own theatre or as part of one of their already-scheduled tours, or see one of the many other live shows that take place throughout the year.
Known as “The LIVE Entertainment Capital of the World,” here are just some of the country stars performing (or have performed) in Branson:
Mickey Gilley | Charlie Daniels Band | John Conlee | Tanya Tucker |
The Oak Ridge Boys | Mark Chesnutt | Neal McCoy | The Texas Tenors |
Gatlin Brothers | Lorrie Morgan | Ronnie Milsap | Trace Adkins |
Billy Dean | Joe Diffie | David Frizzel | Wynonna Judd |
Collin Raye | Gene Watson | Sawyer Brown | Pam Tillis |
Buck Trent | Home Free | TG Sheppard | Sammy Kershaw |
…and dozens of other acts like Mel Tillis, Roy Clark, and Willie Nelson have performed on and off through the years.
